Origin: The seedless table grape variety is a complex new breeding between (Cardinal x Sultana) x ((Red Malaga x Tifafihi Ahmer) x (Muscat d'Alexandrie x Thompson Seedless)). The variety protection holder is J. Wolf from Bad Dürkheim.

Characteristics: The table grape reaches ripeness from the end of August to mid-September and has a medium-strong, upright growth habit. In addition, Heike has a very good fungus resistance and is frost-resistant. The yields are medium.

Grape: The grape is characterised by a loose berry structure, is of medium size and has no seeds. The berries are spherical, red to dark red in colour and have a particularly high sugar content, which gives them a pleasantly sweet taste.

Cultivation: The table grape Heike is suitable for all locations. Due to its early ripeness, the variety is also suitable for less favourable or higher locations. In addition, protective measures against bird and wasp damage should be taken.
