Origin: The variety is a breeding from Moldova. 

Characteristics: The taste of this variety is sweet and has a fine hint of nutmeg, reminiscent of pineapple when fully ripe. It has a medium vigorous growth, is extremely robust and is characterised by its excellent frost hardiness and resistance to fungus. The first grapes can be harvested from mid-September, depending on sunshine, location and climate.

Grape: Frumoasa Alba forms extraordinarily large grapes that hang loosely from a red grape stem. The berries are large, round, yellow-green in colour and have very few, hardly disturbing seeds.

Cultivation: Frumoasa Alba thrives best in a sunny, warm and sheltered location.
